Ebon hooves lightly hit the sodden ground as the dainty femme made her way down the winding path that led to the beautiful and peaceful Cherry Blossom Hollow. The air around her was crisp and cool and the weather today was very pleasant. The perfect day to Myth. However every day was perfect to Myth. She always loved every minute of her life, no matter the things going on around her whether they are going good or bad. The warm sunlight glinted off of her albino pelt which was white with a bit of pink pigment. Unlike most albinos she had blue eyes while most had pink eyes. Her forelock draped gently across her left eye and it touched the very end of her nose. Her tail was lightly swept the ground as she walked. Her pace was slow and leisurely and her walk was very peaceful. Occasionally she would step on a twig alerting a sparrow that would chirp. She smiled as she saw the little squirrels in the trees. They stared at her with their tiny black eyes and sat chewing on an acorn. What adorable creatures they were! Her muscles rippled with each movement and she swiveled her auds every so often to detect danger if there was any near. Nothing so far and soon Myth shook off the thought. Cherry Blossom Hollow was a very peaceful place, very rarely disturbed by a predator. No matter the viciousness of the predator, they all seemed to be calmed and humbled by the beauty of Cherry Blossom Hollow. Several minutes passed and not long after, Myth arrived at the base of Cherry Blossom Hollow. She stopped and stood for minutes, admiring the sheer beauty. Not that she hadn’t been humble before but this made her even more humble. The pink petals of the cherry blossoms covered the emerald grass and in the middle was a large pool of water in which an equine could take a drink or even cool off. After marveling at the place for minutes she walked slowly towards the pool of water. When she made it to the pool she craned her neck to the water and began to drink. Her muzzle gently captured the water in her mouth and Myth swallowed. She took many swallows of the chilly water before leaning back up. She walked away from the pool and stood beneath a cherry blossom tree and looked around. Her blue eyes bright and her mane and tail blowing gently in the breeze. Indeed Myth looked beautiful at this moment. She stood and looked around, waiting for something to happen.

Sing A pure white pegasus stallion softly stode towards the Cherry Blossom Hollow. His black hooves dragging him sub-conciously towards the eautiful place. His mind however was on other things. Tolken flew behind him, his luminescent, see-through, figure gliding along the wind. Though Tolken had no need to use up his energy, he enjoyed the feeling that flying gave him, the feeling that he was alive. Tolken had been killed by an loose electric cord on a telephone wire and had landed on it, unaware of the 300 volts that lay waiting to take the life of their innocent victim, and unfortunately, Tolken had been the victim. He appeared to be smiling to himself as he listened to the thoughts of the stallion that paced ahead of him.
For
Echoing within his mind were other thoughts, not his own, but the thoughts and feeling of spirits that were nearby, being passed to the pegasus's mind by a kinetic force not know to him. There were some who moaned in suffering to their loss, they had not gotten over their death, and then there were the ones who thought of happy things, and praise for their death, and the other's who thought of everything inbetween cursing and general conversation. The noises of these other thoughts disturbed his own thinking pattern, making his patience disapear little by little. It was agitating for him to hear all those different voices when you were trying to get yourself out of a sticky situation or had to think of a plan. They didn't help in any way, they were like hills; blocking your view of the sunset, and yet you can't move them.
Absolution
He sighed as yet another spirit called to him, asking him to show them the way to the other side. He had told them multiple times before that he didn't know how, but for some reason they kept asking. He responded in the usual way, by telling them politely that he couldn't do that for them, and how he had no idea, and that he would help them if he could, but he couldn't. His thoughts and the thoughts around him were interupted by a movement from the corner of his eye. He stopped and turned, only to see the most stunning mare his eyes had ever rested their white pupils on. His jaw hung agape to her flawless beauty and he then realized that he had already passed her by without even knowing it. He looked left and right frantically before finally hanging his head in shame. He couldn't apologize for his rude behavior.

Myth craned her neck slowly grazing, her ivory teeth shredding the grass to the just an inch. Her white wings twitched slightly and then she heard the sound of hoof-steps. She looked over and her brilliant blue eyes lit up. A visitor! It took her a moment to look him over. What an odd male he was! White from head to toe but he had shocking dark black eyes with white pupils. Never had she seen anyone as unique as him. She watched as he walked by her. A smile crossed her muzzle. His jaw hung agape and it made Myth laugh lightly. Then she noticed something shocking. He had no tongue. How in the world did he survive without a tongue? She figured he must have gotten used to it. Knowing he had no tongue, he was obviously a mute. However that would not hinder Myth talking to him. She just wouldn’t ask him anything. She didn’t show her slight shock over his missing tongue but instead spoke sweetly. I am Myth. She watched as he hung his head in shame. A forgiving look came across her face and she gently nudged his shoulder. You needn’t worry about that sir. I am not offended at all. And I must say, you are very unique. You are one of a kind indeed. She smiled and the warm wind gently swept her forelock from her face. Her cobalt eyes moved to a small squirrel who was scampering towards her. She emitted a light whinny showing the squirrel that she would not hurt him. She leaned down and the small squirrel scurried onto her head. She laughed quietly and then balanced on her back feet. The squirrel then jumped from her head and onto a higher branch. Then he quickly picked a large berry and began eating it. Myth swiftly plopped her hooves back onto the soft grass. An odd thing was that Myth could read minds. Any animal’s mind. She stared at this male but reluctantly read his mind. He felt sorry for accidentally passing her and Myth smiled. It truthfully was not a big deal. Myth did not mind. She then waited for the male to speak.

Sing Tempest smiled as he saw her accept his silent apology, for the first time he actually felt normal, maybe even accpeted by another equin. His thoughts rolled through his head like virbal speech. "Thank you for accepting my apology, I'm sorry I failed to recognize your prescence." But then he realized she wouldn't be able to hear him. For so long he had been alone, talking to the spirits or Tolken through his mind, and now that he had finally come across another being he had foregotten that they used virbal speech instead of kinetic. If only he hadn't been so mutilated in the whomb. He had a ginetic defect that made his eyes the shocking opposite color that they were, and then he hadn't gotten enough oxygen during that critical developing period when he was still a fetus and had failed to grow a tongue. For At first he had been a skinny foal, when he had no idea how to swallow and chew without his tongue and while he was still being nursed his parents told the other horses that his strange coloration was just something he would grow out of. But as he grew it only got more and more bold, and eventually his odd appearance had made the small band that his parents and him lived in, send him away in disgrace for his strange eyes. Absolution During that long time in silence he began to think he was going insane when voices that were not his own began to echo through his head, until he realized that they would respond when he replied, and over time he began to see the beings that spoke to him, and would ocassionally have long conversations with these spirits. While he thought back to this time, he egan to feel a different prescence probe his mind, and he let it in, only to realize that the mare that stood before was the prescence. Was she actually a mind reader. In his excitment he spoke kinetically. "Can you hear me?"

Myth stood a light shadow cast upon half of her pallid coat. Her blue eyes watched the male who she was very intrigued by. Then something disrupted her observation. “Can you hear me?” Those four words rang through her head. Excitement rushed through her. He could speak telepathically! She held back her excitement and remained calm. Indeed I can hear you. A small smile crossed her maw and she began thinking back to her past. When she was only a yearling her father died protecting her mother from a rogue unicorn stallion. The unicorn stallion had plunged his horn through her father heart and as her father was dying, the rogue unicorn killed her mother also. She had been by both of their sides when they died. She had loved them so dearly and it had broken her heart but she had remained calm. Not many years before her great-great grandfather had died. He had been the one who had originally fought against the darks for the castle. He had retreated not because he had lost or because he was scared. He had withdrawn because he knew the castle wasn’t worth fighting over and that his family depended on him. He couldn’t get hurt and leave them helpless. He had withdrawn because he would not let his family down. Myth had been devastated when he died. She had mourned his death for months. And she still wasn’t the same since her mother, father, and great-great grandfather’s deaths. There was a void in her heart that could never be filled. She had gotten much better though. It had been three years. She was very happy now. She ran the land originally owned by her great-great grandparents, grandparents, and parents. She snapped out of her thoughts and looked back to the male. Her blue eyes glimmered and she spoke telepathically to him. What is your name, sir? She smiled and waited for him to speak.

Sing Tempest had never felt so understood in all of his life. The only time he had ever been understood by another was the day before his uncle died, and he had been talked totelepthically by his uncle's soul telling him to help him out of his body. It was a very disturbing experience for the young colt Tempest had been and back then he hadn't even realized he could speak to spirits. He smiled as the joy filled him, he tried to restrain it but it all just came out in one small burst. He whnnied and gave a playful buck before throwing his head sending his mane in all directions showing the black roots. He apologized to the gorgeous mare for his childish burst, and then he blushed. His white cheeks turning a suttle pink. He shook his head again to clear the color and then listened to the mare as she spoke to him again, this time asking what his name was. He smiled, and began. For "My name is Tempest, and what is yours, fair maiden?" Though he was acting quite foolish, the true gentlemen appeared from him as he spoke to her. He could tell that this mare was different from the others, who instead of be friendly to him, preferred to chase him from their territory in fear, or anger. He sighed remembering his last run in with another equin which had turned out badly, and sent him into a deep depression, where he had, in his attempts to flee the horse, had been run from that land alltogether, and eventually, while his depression cleared, had run to this land.Absolution He smiled again and bowed his head to pull up some grass and chew on them lazily. He had not realized until now, how hungry he was. He had been so distracted before that he didn't care. But now his stomach growled at him with a vengence and he chewed the grass for quite a while making sure that it was easy enough to swallow that he wouldn't choke on it. This took some time since he had no tongue, it also made it just as diffucult to swallow, but over the years he had finally learned how to deal with this problem. After swallowing the pulpy grass, he turned back to the mare, to listen to her response.

A quiet laugh escaped Myth’s muzzle as she watched the male act like a colt. Finally she met someone who didn’t feel like an idiot when they acted like a foal. Myth wasn’t immature but she did love sometimes when she was alone to just let loose and jump and whinny for no reason other than the fact she needed some fun. She needed some time to act like she was a filly again. She wasn’t old but she wasn’t a foal anymore. Then a thought from the male disrupted her thoughts. She smiled a small smile. Tempest is a very charming name. She looked at him once more. He was quite handsome. As a matter of fact. His uniqueness was what made him so handsome. Then she responded to his question. My name is Myth. She smiled and then began to graze. Her ivory teeth sliced the grass and she chewed it. It tasted wonderful. For some reason the grass seemed to taste better in Cherry Blossom Hollow. She picked up a few cherry blossom petals in her mouth and chewed them up. They tasted sweet. Cherry blossom petals were one of her favorite snacks. Occasionally she would look up at Tempest who was chewing the grass also. When she finished she sent a thought to him. I reside in Tranquility Valley. I am the lead mare. Where do you live, Tempest? She smiled once again and waited for him to speak.

Tempest glanced up from eating to peer through his long forelock at the mare before him. He jumped, startled by the strange feeling of Tolken landing on his back. Whenever a spirit decided to touch a living being a was a strange, cold sensation, that gradually changed to slow chills spreading across the place that the spirit landed. Though Tempest had lived with spirits nearly all his life, the odd sensation was still surprise to him. He flinched as the chills started, and then quivered as they ran up and down his spine. He whipped his head around to face tolken, glaring at the crow he sat preening his silvery feathers.Sing "Will you get off of me?" He said to the crow. Tolken merely looked over athim and laughed then continued to preen himself, all the while a crooked sneer lining his beak. Tempest frowned and then shook himself hard sending the crow to wobble off his back. He yawned lightly to avoid showing his tongue-less mouth and then twitched his ears as Tolken flew in circles above him laughing at him. He paused to listen to the mare speak. So her name was Myth, such a pretty name it was, and quite fitting for her too. He smiled at her as he continued to listen. For "Oh, you have a very pretty name too, it fits you." He said smiling again as she spoke to him, telling him that she was head of tranquility valley. He had never been there before perhaps one day he could visit her there. He sighed as Tolken landed on his back again, continuing his funny laugh. He then began to wonder if Myth could hear him too. She probably couldn't since he did kno that spirits could make themselves audible if they wanted to, but he wasn't sure if Tolken was doing this since he could hear him anyways.Absolution "I don't reside anywhere actually. I just stumbled upon this place just recently. Oh, and can you hear Tolken?"Words_337 Muse_Good Puppet_Tempest Notes_Sorry this took so freakin' long >.<

Warm blue eyes watched Tempest as he spoke to an unseen raven spirit that had perched upon his back. Myth could not see the bird but she knew he was there. His shrill cawing could be heard loud and clear. Myth simply smiled, wishing she could see the raven. Then Tempest spoke saying she had a pretty name. “Why thank you.” She looked away for a moment blushing at the sweet comment. She watched him yawn lightly, attempting to hide the fact that he had no tongue. ”You do not have to try and hide the fact that you are missing your tongue. I am not one who mocks someone who is unique. In fact I look at you having no tongue and what most would think is a flaw, I see it as individuality from everyone else. She stepped over to him and nudged him softly with her velvety muzzle. Her blue eyes watched him. When she looked at him, though they hadn’t known one another for more than an hour, she felt an odd feeling in the pit of her stomach. Like butterflies were flying around and bumping into her sides. A sweet smile crossed her as he spoke again. ”Well Tempest, if you want a home, you are always welcome to join Tranquility Valley. And I cannot see Tolken but I can hear him. He has a loud cry doesn’t he? She laughed and waited for Tempest to speak.
